I liked your analogy between the one-man-band and designers. I also think it has to be a passion for design that pushes you to keep working and acquire an arsenal of skills to complete a project (or a body full of instruments). Ha! I love the one man band analogy. All things considered, I feel alot like that guy in the last clip. You do this random,complicated,and perhaps a little silly or seemingly pointless thing – and every now and then someone will put a coin in your cup. C’est la vie.

Very well said. Professionals who work with web must be as multitask professionals as they can be if they want to succeed. Even those who execute specific functions on a web designers team must be able to see the whole, and not only their part. This is somehow thrilling and exciting. Thrilling, ’cause very often we have the feeling that “the more we learn, the less we know”. But at the same time, the challenge is the beauty of web design/development.

By the way, the layout is simply astonishing. Congratulations.

Your introduction text was extremely inspiring in many ways. It taught ignorant people like me that you work is not at all as cold and technical as I thought it was, it showed a whole romantic, hard-working side of it, but it mostly it was so good to know that you do it because you enjoy it. Not all people think like that or have the luck to live off what they trully love.
